United Way of Coastal Empire

We have received numerous requests to donate money for our initiative. We have decided to partner with United Way of the Coastal Empire to coordinate the collection and distribution of funds to make sure it’s going to the right place. These funds will be used to cover R&D costs, alleviate the financial burden of bulk mask purchases, and donate masks to those in need. Please use the link below for more information.

Nine Line Mask Development

After days of internal testing and review, we realized the most effective way to mass-produce filtration material is to design the filtration in a square pattern rather than a circle (to maximize the use of this limited resource). The design concept here has two components rather than one and will require funding to create an injection mold. The purple component will be made of Polypropylene and the brown component will be made of LSR (liquid silicone resin). When filtration material is seated between these two components a vacuum seal is created when strapped to the wearer. We are currently only able to create this version via 3D printers which cannot scale production. To scale production, an injection mold will cost $200,000 per component. Once complete one facility can scale to 3,000 masks per day at a cost of approximately $15. The filtration material is also currently being tested and at scale should cost under $.30 per filter.
