Message from Tyler Merritt, CEO of Nine Line Apparel

Our team at Nine Line has pivoted to focus on helping America combat COVID-19. We like many of you have asked ourselves, what can we do to help. My mom is on the front-line seeing patients where the virus is in high concentration. She and her fellow nurses are running out of the vital protective gear, and specifically masks. She, like so many others are risking their lives to help save others. They deserve better. They need to be protected.

This is personal and I am making it my business.

We have been tirelessly working to develop solutions to bridge the gap on the critical mask shortages. We have poured through research, dissected supply chains, studied projections and we know we need to do something different. And fast.
Many of you have also asked “how can we help?” We have set up two ways for you to support our mission to keep America safe. First, you can donate funds to gift masks to medical personnel, first responders and those on the front lines of the COVID19 pandemic. The team at Nine Line will procure and ship those masks to them free of charge.

The other way you can help is by supporting our mission to develop a new mask, made in America that can be mass produced. In the absence of Federal Funding, Nine Line is working with industry leaders in manufacturing, engineers and scientists specializing in non-woven materials like nano-fibers from around the globe. This unofficial Task Force is interested in testing potential solutions in days because we do not have months or even weeks to wait on others to develop a viable / scalable solution to this critical shortage of protective masks. We believe we can develop an American made solution that is scalable and bridge this critical supply gap. But we need your help to fund the research and development.

Together we can do this.
